Our History
Established in 1962, the David M. Gilston Insurance Agency is a full-service brokerage house that represents various carriers for lines of insurance such as health, life, disability, vision, dental, and the growing senior markets arena.
As a General Agency, we work with brokers to help them find the most comprehensive benefit package available to meet the needs of the client. Once brokers place their clients through the Gilston Agency, they are assigned an internal dedicated customer service representative who works with the carrier representatives to provide an additional layer of support to the agent, HR Manager, and employees.
The Gilston Agency has consistently been recognized by major insurance carriers operating in South Carolina as one of the state’s leading agencies in the health insurance industry. With three locations to serve you, the Gilston Agency continues to grow and develop successful relationships with brokers by providing excellent support before, during and after enrollment.
